Magnolia Villas is a proposed affordable housing development at 1445 and 1453 10th St. in Santa Monica, California, that will provide 40 units of senior housing for a mix of income levels. The proposed development will be nearly 27,000 square feet and feature one-bedroom units in a four-story apartment community. EAH becomes the first new affordable developer to work with the City of Santa Monica in many years and one of only three total.
The surrounding areas offer useful health amenities and transportation options for residents. The development is located close to several bus stops with access to multiple bus lines. The City of Santa Monica partners with Lyft to provide low-cost ride service options for seniors, and both Kaiser Permanente and UCLA Medical Center are in the vicinity. Many leisure options are available within a mile of the property location, including Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica State Beach and Third Street Promenade, providing convenient access to movie theatres, restaurants, cafes and shopping.
