EAH Housing is excited to host two new interns in the real estate development department in 2019 – Christian in Northern California through the Nonprofit Housing (NPH) Association of Northern California Bay Area Housing Internship Program, and Claudette in Southern California through the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Summer LISC AmeriCorps Program.
Both internship programs are designed to help bridge the gap of next generation project managers in affordable housing real estate development by fostering more diversity, equity, inclusion in the profession through cohorts and mentorship. It was through this entry point at LISC that EAH’s own Director of Development, Denice Wint, launched her career in affordable housing development in Los Angeles.
For college students and young professionals looking to gain experience in affordable housing development and construction while serving low income seniors, veterans, families and the missing middle, we encourage you to visit NPH and LISC for more information.
