Laura Hall, Chief Operating Officer
Laura Hall, Chief Operating Officer, joined EAH Housing in September of 2008. Ms. Hall came to EAH Housing with over two decades of high level management experience, the scope of which extends from education and treatment services operations to correctional facilities management. She brings an impressive combination of operational and management expertise, combined with a real commitment to people.
Prior to coming to EAH, Ms. Hall spent seventeen years with Cornell Companies, a national provider of treatment, education and correctional services, contracted to government agencies for adults and juveniles, with 75 facilities offering institutional, residential, community-based and outpatient settings. There she was responsible for strategic planning, operations management, and regulatory compliance for all adult community-based programs and properties, encompassing 1,000 employees and $70 million in revenue. She was also responsible for facility accreditations and business development within that division.
During her tenure at Cornell Companies, Inc., Ms. Hall gained extensive knowledge of privatized corrections industry business strategies and successful operations. She managed projects spanning from site acquisition and response to Requests for Proposals (RFP), to supervising the transition from business development to operations. She possesses substantial expertise in the areas of facilities management, contract negotiations, and customer development and retention. In addition, she worked to raise awareness within the legislative, judicial and executive branches of the government regarding the need for community services.
Ms. Hall oversees the Accounting, Human Resources, Operations, Information Technology, and Real Estate Management Departments at EAH Housing. She has a California Broker License and graduated with high honors from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science. She received a Master’s in Business Administration, Strategic Leadership, from Dominican University in San Rafael.
