Farley Place is an affordable housing community for older adults 62+ on the Tiburon-Belvedere Peninsula, completed in 1989 on the last vacant multifamily-zoned site in town through extraordinary community partnership. Designed by Callister Gately Heckman & Bischoff and built by J.H. and R.M. Fitzmaurice, the two-story property comprises 11 one-bedroom apartments, including one fully wheelchair-accessible home with covered parking. More than half of the $1.25 million cost came from local contributions, reduced architect fees, and waived city fees, with later photovoltaic upgrades powering exterior lighting.
