Mission Paradise is one of the first two affordable housing developments by EAH Housing in Hayward, completed in 2024 on two acres at Mission Boulevard near South Hayward BART. The two four-story GreenPoint Gold buildings comprise 76 one- and two-bedroom apartments for older adults 62+, with 25 units backed by project-based rental assistance through the Housing Authority of Alameda County and 11 reserved for residents with severe mental illness under California's No Place Like Home program. Reimagined from a planned market-rate condominium project, the development reached 100% affordability with $6 million from the City and $41.2 million from California's Housing Accelerator Program.
