Imperial Village

Imperial Village is the first affordable housing development by EAH Housing in the City of Imperial, completed in 2024 after a decade-plus collaboration to bring 69 homes to older adults 62+. The three-story GreenPoint Rated property comprises one-bedroom apartments built to accessible standards, with 14 backed by project-based vouchers and 54 funded through HUD Section 202 PRAC, plus a manager unit and a designated civic space. Designed by NOAA Group with arched openings, classic columns, and shade overhangs honoring downtown's traditional character, the $32.3 million project was one of only two HUD Section 202 developments funded in California that year.
