Lightfighter Village is a LEED Platinum affordable housing community for veterans in Marina, co-developed by EAH Housing and the Veterans Transition Center of California (VTC) on the historic former Fort Ord Army base. Completed in 2025, the $49.3 million project comprises 71 permanent supportive apartments for veterans and families, with priority for those experiencing homelessness, half a mile from the VA/DOD outpatient clinic. Named for the 7th Infantry Division Lightfighters once stationed at Fort Ord, the development expands VTC housing capacity by 70% and serves an estimated 400 homeless veterans in Monterey County.
