Hamilton Meadows I + II

Hamilton Meadows I and II is an affordable housing community on the former Hamilton Air Force Base in Novato, replacing substandard military housing with low-density townhouses for families and individuals receiving supportive services. Phase I opened in 2005 and Phase II in 2006, together delivering 101 homes amid rolling hills and a canopy of mature trees. By design, there is no visible distinction between neighboring for-sale homes and the supportive housing, a thoughtful integration that places the community within walking distance of a town center, parks, schools, and acres of open space.
