Golden Oak Manor

Golden Oak Manor is an affordable housing community for older adults 62+ in Oakley, in California's Delta region, originally built in 1996 and comprehensively rehabilitated in 2016. The 50 one-bedroom apartments are arranged in five interconnected two-story buildings forming a U-shape around a large interior courtyard, all accessible by elevators. The renovation reimagined the outdoor common areas with a trellised patio, sail-cloth structure, two BBQ areas, outdoor fitness equipment, and a community garden, alongside in-unit emergency call systems and a community room hosting weekly bingo and card games.
