Parkview Senior is an acquisition and rehabilitation completed in 2015 in San Jose, part of a city master plan encompassing affordable family and senior housing, market-rate townhomes, and a city park. Originally built in 1996, the 140-unit Type V-A community was acquired and rehabilitated in 2014, designed by SB Architects and built by Barry Swenson Builder. It serves older adults at 30%–50% AMI. Financing includes 9% LIHTC, City of San Jose Redevelopment Agency, California Equity Fund, and Union Bank.
