The Rebecca W. Watkin Scholarship program, administered by 10,000 Degrees, continues empowering residents to pursue higher education. Rooted in the belief that thriving, inclusive communities grow stronger when everyone can achieve their goals, regardless of income level or background, this initiative reflects our shared commitment to opportunity for all.
This year, 35 students submitted applications. After thoughtful review, the selection committee proudly named ten outstanding recipients of the 2025 scholarship:
