MacArthur Field is a two-phase affordable housing community for veterans, located on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs West Los Angeles Campus. Developed in partnership with New Directions for Veterans and professionally managed by EAH Housing, the community provides a total of 149 thoughtfully designed one-bedroom apartments, serving formerly homeless, at-risk, disabled, and low-income veterans earning between 30% and 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Phase A, completed in 2024, offers 74 ADA-accessible homes and one manager’s unit in a three-story building with full elevator access. It focuses on supporting veterans with special needs and provides direct access to wraparound services, with onsite leasing offices and proximity to the VA medical center.

Phase B, completed in 2025, adds 75 additional homes, including 15 units for disabled veterans, 28 for formerly homeless veterans, 31 for low-income veterans, and one manager’s unit. Amenities include a fitness room, case management offices, picnic areas, a community garden, and multiple indoor and outdoor spaces that promote health, independence, and connection.

Both phases are 100% electric and partially solar-powered, with secure building access and tailored supportive services that promote long-term housing stability. Together, MacArthur Field A and B form a vibrant, service-rich campus that honors the dignity and resilience of those who have served.
