Blossom Hill is currently in the pre-development stage and waiting for financing commitments. Blossom Hill is part of a larger master-planned community planned for the station. EAH Housing will develop the affordable housing component.

 

Project Overview

Blossom Hill Apartments will be an affordable community located at the parking lot of the Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority’s (VTA) Blossom Hill light rail station. The development is part of a larger master-planned community planned for the station. EAH Housing will develop the affordable housing component and the project will be a stand-alone development on its own parcel with a ground lease to the VTA.
 
Blossom Hill consists of up to 3 acres at the corner of Blossom Hill Road and Highway 8.  It will be a 5-story building with 89 units. The unit mix will be 21 studios, 28 (1-BR), 27 (2-BR), 13 (3-BR), and two manager units. The project will be built in one phase. Nearby amenities include Westfield Oakridge Mall, Century Theater, and Bowlero San Jose. The development is a seven-minute walk (0.3 mi) to the Sunrise Plaza Shopping Center and is close to Martial Cottle Park, schools, and bus lines.
