Pony Express finished construction in 2023 and is a joint development of EAH Housing and PEP Housing. Pony Express is the first housing development of EAH Housing in Solano County.
Project Overview
Pony Express senior apartments is a 60-unit, 1.82-acre site that will provide housing to low-income vulnerable seniors, and some units exclusively reserved for senior veterans. All units have project-based vouchers (PBVs) and to further serve our seniors and our mission to be able to “age in place”, the community will include a large community room, computer room, wellness center, dog run, and even a separate building where residents are encouraged to create, tinker, and build enriching hobbies.
The beautifully designed concrete foundation ties the buildings together under umbrellas and the shade of the oak tree with walking paths and citrus trees.
