Ahe Group Selects EAH Housing to Manage Pua Loke on Kaua’i

Kaua`i, HI (July 6, 2021) – EAH Housing, an affordable housing nonprofit organization, announced today that applications are now being accepted for Pua Loke Apartments. Prospective residents can apply at: A lottery for new applicants will begin July 19, 2021.

EAH Housing will manage Pua Loke Apartments, the newest affordable housing development in Kaua`i. Pua Loke features 54 multi-family apartments, including 1-,2-, and 3-bedroom units and an on-site staff apartment. The community is scheduled to open in three phases on July 30, August 30, and October 18, 2021 with housing preferences for  residents employed in the Līhu‘e area and for residents of the Ahupua`a of Nawiliwil.

“EAH Housing is thrilled to grow its partnership with Ahe Group and the County of Kaua`i Housing Agency,” said Josh Romoff, director of new business for EAH Housing. “Pua Loke represents our commitment to Kauai and to providing quality affordable housing for people who need it most.”

The EAH Housing and Ahe Group partnership now serves more than 500 residents on six properties and 339 apartments across Hawai’i. The Pua Loke announcement marks the successful expansion of a partnership which spans more than a decade.

Pua Loke is located at 4315 Pua Loke St, Lihue, HI 96766, close to Kukui Grove, government offices, nearby schools, medical services, recreational areas, and eateries. The new development has been built to achieve a LEED Platinum energy efficiency rating.  Rents are based on 30%-100% of the area median income. Five apartments will be set aside to support families who have, or are, facing homelessness. Our management team will work closely with Kauai Community Alliance members, Bridging the Gap and Family Life Services, to place families in these apartments through the Coordinated Entry System. Rents will range from $437 to $2,425 per month for eligible applicants.  Resident Services will be provided to some residents at no cost.
