On May 28, we witnessed the power of community. Our first‑ever Bold Solutions event in LA raised over $160,000 to support affordable housing and the EAH Housing Scholarship Fund — a testament to your belief in the power of home.

Our Bold Solutions fundraising gala brought together housing leaders, partners, and supporters in Los Angeles for an evening of connection and shared purpose. A highlight was the “Power of the Home” panel, moderated by Politico journalist Liam Dillon and featuring LA County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath and UCLA Lewis Center researcher Shane Phillips, who explored practical solutions to the housing crisis and the policy and research driving progress.

The evening’s most memorable moment came from EAH Housing scholarship recipient Haron Samhan, a recent USC Aerospace Engineering graduate who grew up in an EAH Housing community. Haron’s story, from stable housing to higher education to a meaningful career, is a testament to what affordable housing makes possible beyond shelter.
