San Rafael, CA — EAH (Ecumenical Association for Housing), now in its 39th year of developing, managing and promoting quality affordable housing in California and Hawaii, has been awarded a grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the amount of $260,000 to enhance the social services program at Rohlffs Memorial Manor in Napa. The grant supports a three-year program including a new Service Coordinator position and the set-up costs for the new program. EAH will hire the coordinator in May. This new staff position will take a leadership role in the coordination of all supportive services for the senior and disabled residents at Rohlff’s.

“Rohlff’s Memorial Manor is a unique property for affordable senior living,” said Mary Murtagh, President and CEO of EAH. “The social service coordinator will serve as a link between our senior and disabled residents and the services they need to allow them to remain independent in their own homes.”

Rohlff’s is an affordable housing community for seniors, located in the heart of Napa Valley. There are 98 assisted living apartments and 261 senior living apartments. The new Service Coordinator will be part of the management team and will play a key role in the EAH vision to develop a model healthy aging community at Rohlff’s Manor.
