New Chapters for Vista Park II and San Clemente Place
October 15, 2026

Building affordable housing is only the first chapter. Keeping it safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for decades is the chapter that matters most to the residents who call these communities home, and this year, two of our California communities are entering that next chapter through significant rehabilitation investment.
Vista Park II, an 83-home community for older adults in San Jose, CA, will undergo upgrades to common areas and unit interiors beginning in 2026 and continuing through 2027. The renovation is designed to extend the life of the property while improving day-to-day comfort for residents who have called Vista Park II home for years.
San Clemente Place, a 76-unit community in Corte Madera, CA serving families and residents with special needs, begins a larger renovation this November that will run through mid-2028. That work will strengthen accessibility throughout the property, upgrade core building systems, and improve fire safety, three areas that directly affect residents’ day-to-day independence and wellbeing.
Rehabilitation projects like these are a critical, if less visible, part of EAH Housing’s mission. Affordable housing is a long-term commitment, not a one-time build, and preserving the quality of existing communities protects the investment that residents, funders, and the broader community have already made in these neighborhoods. Both projects reflect that ongoing commitment to ensuring residents have safe, comfortable homes for years to come.
